Unfortunately the QVN Loppet, scheduled for Saturday, January 19th, has been cancelled due to lack of snow.
The results from Sask Cup #3 in Humboldt have been posted. Click HERE for the link, or visit the “Sask Cup Race Series” Page under the “Events” Tab, and scroll down until you reach the results section.
It was a beautiful sunny day in Humboldt with temperatures ranging between -10C and -5C, and over 80 racers took part.
Thank you to the Carlton Trail Ski Club and their dedicated team of volunteers for putting on such a fun and well organized event.

The weekend of January 26th - 27th, the Prince Albert Ski Club is hosting a Double Header, with Sask Cup #4 at Little Red River Park on the Saturday, and the Prince Albert Loppet at Little Red River Park on the Sunday.

There is now an Online Ski Waxing Clinic on The Locker.
The course was produced by CCC and xcskination.com and is presented by CCC World Cup Wax Tech Joel Jacques.
The E-Learning course is available to NCCP trained cross country ski coaches through The Locker (www.thelocker.coach.ca)
Once you log in to your account, click on “E-Learning”, change setting from “Multi-Sport” to “Cross Country Skiing”, and click on “Online Wax Clinic”.
The E-Learning course includes a lot of ski wax knowledge and coaches receive 3 PD points upon completion.

22 athletes competed at the Canada Winter Games Trials on December 28th and 29th at Little Red River Park in Prince Albert, SK.
3 races in 2 days were used to decide the Cross Country Ski and Para-Nordic teams that Saskatchewan will send to the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer.
Thank you to the Prince Albert Ski Club for the great trails and all of the volunteers from across the province that helped to run the races.

Team Sask On Snow Training and Shenanigans from Nov/Dec 2018
The Blue Mountain Skate and Classic Challenge Loppet, originally scheduled for Sat. December 15th, has been postponed to a later date.
They hope to hold the Loppet in January and a notice will be posted once a new date is chosen.
La Ronge is hosting the first Sask Cup weekend of the season on Dec. 8th and 9th.
La Ronge has great snow conditions and the weather looks perfect for ski racing.
Registration deadline is 19:00 CT on Thursday, Dec. 6th.
The registration link will be posted once it is open.
Location will be determined by snow conditions in the province.
Completion of the L2T Dryland is a prerequisite.
Registration is now open for all three NCCP Community Coaching Workshops being offered in Saskatchewan this season.

Regina - February 9th-10th

November 23 (7 p.m.) - November 25 (12:30 p.m.)
Open to all current Level 1 or higher officials in CCS member clubs.
Those who register on Zone4 will be provided with further instructions on how to log on to the CCC Officials website. Successful completion of a short online pre-course test and a slightly longer online post-course test, both open-book, will be required.

The 2018 CCS Snow Camp in Lake Louise is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 11th to Friday, Nov. 16th.
The Camp is open to athletes 9 years old and older. The training camp will have 3 training groups with dedicated coaches.
