The Community Coaching Workshop is an in-class and on-snow course that teaches community coaches how to lead a skill development program at the club level to children in the FUNdamentals stage of development. Nordiq Canada’s skill development programs include Bunnyrabbits, Jackrabbits and Track Attack.
There's currently a Community Coaching Workshop planned for the weekend of November 28-29 in Saskatoon. The classroom component will be delivered virtually. CCS is willing to deliver the on-snow component to registrants outside of Saskatoon at a date to be determined. Registration is open at https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=24833.
Prior to taking the course, you must complete the on line Intro to Community Coaching course.
The first steps to achieving NCCP cross country ski training is to complete the Introduction to Community Coaching Workshop, which can be done online at https://thelocker.coach.ca/ (click here for instructions). The Locker is where you can complete online NCCP training and can keep track of your certification.
